Tek mate Leak detector

I've been using one of these very successfully for about 3 years now, and when I originally bought it, I was advised to change the sensor periodically - once a year I think.

I'm still on the original sensor and just wondered if other users did change it regularly, I suppose what I want to know is does the sensor degrade? I know a number of people on the forum use the same kit, what is your experience?

Thanks for any comments.

I think I've answered my own question, on checking Javac website they give sensor life as 100 hours. I'm well over that, so a new one looks like a good investment - I'll retain original sensor as a spare.
