I opened my system and immediately replaced my compressor and drier in approximately 45 minutes. But afterward I had a persistent slow leak which caused me to loose all vacuum in approx 10 minutes. I tried to locate and plug the leak by pulling vacuum for approx 7-10 times to tighten and recheck all connections. I also disconnected and reinstalled the connections to both the drier and compressor for 3x each to make sure the orings was seated properly. I finally traced the leak to an incorrect o-ring size for the compressor which stupid Honda provided. When I put back my old o-rings everything sealed up perfectly but now I am concerned if I have saturated my drier with all those revacuuming and reconnecting of the system.

Newbie wanting to learn how to fix his 01 Civic AC in this freaking hot Dallas TX area.
The Dryer will be OK. Good job staying persistent and finding that leak.

If your oil is in it, I agree, charge it up with the correct amount of R134a....
