Can't find a shop to recover R12 in eastern CT...

I've called several places in my area and nobody has the equipment to recover R12. I need to replace a compressor and want to do the right thing... Is there some type of container I can buy to move the stuff out?

Most new shops and chains will not have the ability to recover R12; just not part of their business model. You will need to look for an older established shop, maybe an A/C specialty shop. Check with some of the older radiator shops in the area; as the radiator business changed, many of them became A/C specialists. Good luck.
