Refrigerant Temps

What temperature should the refrigerant be after it leaves the condenser? The TXV in my system sits right next to the evaporator and I need to insulate it. I'm just curious to know how hot it's generally supposed to get. I know all systems are different and temps vary with pressure but I just need a ball-park estimate. Thanks.

The temperature there is the same as the bottom of the condenser, which will be more than ambient temperature. After condensation is complete, the liquid will be "subcooled" to maybe 10 degrees below saturation temperature.

Thus the liquid line should not be insulated, let it lose heat which is good.
