How do I find a USED Part or new at a discount

BKiessel on Sun June 13, 2010 1:39 PM User is offline

Year: 2004
Make: Lincoln
Model: LS
Engine Size: V6
Country of Origin: United States

I need a control module (the one below the radio) that controls the Dual air/heat and seat heat/cool. The yards try to sell me one that is all contained
in its own box (like a radio would be) but mine is not that way .... it has a 3/4 to one inch face plate/control buttons connected by a ribbon to a circuit board that slides in and out of a slot in the dash. The original part number is 3w4z 19980 BC but Ford modified the part (probably for the reason mine went bad) ...new number is 6w4z 19980 B.

I would take the old one if it worked and was cheap but prefer the new number.

HOW DO I LOCATE A USED PART LIKE THAT!!!!!?????? Thanks to anyone that can help.

Are you sure you didn't just break yours trying to pull it out of the dash? It sounds like you're looking at the circuit board which is normally sealed inside the box, and the rest of the box is still stuck in the dash.
