How to add oil back to a sanden 508

texas71 on Fri July 09, 2010 9:15 PM User is offline

Year: 1971
Make: chevrolet
Model: p/u
Engine Size: 350
Refrigerant Type: 134a
Country of Origin: United States

I am converting to 134a and am using a sanden 508 that I was running r12 in. The guys at Vintage air told me to pull the drain plug and turn upside down overnight, I didnt get much out and they said to add 7.2 oz. of PAG 100 to it . I'm assuming they meant to put it back in the oil drain and reinstall the plug? Or am I supposed to add it to the suction and discharge ports?
