Clutch cycling switch pops off of accumulator

tw on Tue June 28, 2011 9:12 PM User is offline

Year: 1994
Make: GMC
Model: S15 Blazer
Engine Size: 4.3
Refrigerant Type: R134a
Country of Origin: United States

The clutch cycling switch has popped off of the accumulator several times when the vehicle was parked. I replaced the switch with a new one and it happened again. The pressures on the system are good according to the pressure/temp chart. The system has been changed over to R134a and works great at 85% of the R12 capacity. Did GM make accumulators with different thread sizes, or did I get an accumulator with undersized threads, or is this an indication of another problem with the system?

Where did you purchase the switch from?
