Yes.

This works better in my opinion. Aluminum Braze Rod.

I agree. Those rings just melt and run down the outside of the part your trying to weld.

Ok, I will just go and get some braze rods and try them out then.

I think the rings are a lot better than the rods, especially for the newbie that I am. I brazed in a second condenser last year with the rings, got no where with rods. The rods were great for patches, but it was hard to braze around the tube with them. You'll have to google them because they are on a competitor's website.

Rings do apply enough material if you ask me. Heat the lower section and a rod should just flow in the joint. Rings melt before you have a proper temp.

that right the trick is getting the metal hot first then the rod melt
