evacuatining a minivan

Year: 2005
Make: Toyota
Model: Sienna
Refrigerant Type: 134a

So,
I am evacuating a minivan and it has two evaporators, one in the front, and one in the rear. I am told that there is a solenoid in between which shuts off the rear when not it use. With the vacuum pump hooked up to the high and low connections, do I need to do something special to open the solenoid to ensure the rear part of the system is evacuated?

Nothing else needed to do. If the solenoid is off, you will still pulling from the low side.
