Sanden compressor hub removal

AutoCool on Sun August 26, 2012 4:19 AM User is offline

Hi, can someone please tell me what size bolts are supplied with a (Sanden style) hub remover plate? My clutch service set came with three 5mm bolts plus 3 of coarse thread larger size that I've misplaced. I believe these would be the three bolts supplied as standard with a Mastercool 91000-A but the catalog doesn't list specs or part numbers for the actual bolts. Thanks for your help.

If this is an 'aftermarket' Sanden replacement....then simply measure your threads with your tap and dye set. The hubs can come with various size threads and some even lack the threads. In this case, simply cut threads into the hub...enough to capture your removal tool and remove. Normally the driver is not difficult to remove. If over heated...it may be best to consider a unit replacement and system service.

On my Sanden 708, the three are size 6.0mm x 1.0mm

That must be the size. Thank you Cussboy.
