Year: 1994
Make: jaguar
Model: XJS
Refrigerant Type: R134a
Country of Origin: United Kingdom

I have just been looking for a slow leak on my jaguar XJS 1994 (134a) and have just found is was from the bulb tube of the expansion valve. This had a cover and some padding inside the cover and could be seen when removed green patch from the dye. This valve is now 20 years old but wonder if this type of leak has been found before of other car ac systems ?

I was thinking it would be great if I had a kit of adaptors to pressure feed and blank off the other pipe so it would be easy to pressure test parts of the AC system to prove a evaporator is leaking etc before your removed the dash !

Does any one know of a supplier of a kit like that or and info on what you used to make a set up. I was thinking of collecting the metal ends of the hose fittings and try to make up a set but would be easy if I could buy a made up testing kit for use with OFN .

Any info of what you do or where I can look for a kit with many thanks in advance.
