Hey all,
I tried doing a search and was unsuccessful but long story short I was in the process of repairing the phasers and I pulled a wiring harness that gave free and I bumped an ac line. The part circled below began to hiss and I could feel leaking from it but I haven't had a chance to look and see if anything is broken and I don't even know what it's called to research it. For what I can tell there is this one, and another by the condenser which looks like a drier.
Thanks for the help!
Looks like a discharge line muffler- mounted as part of the a/c line. So look up discharge line (or high side line) from compressor to condenser (from Napa, or dealer) and it should come as part of that.

The number one A/C diagnostic tool there is- is to know how much refrigerant is in the system- this can only be done by recovering and weighing the refrigerant!!
Just a thought.... 65% of A/C failures in my 3200 car diagnostic database (GM vehicles) are due to loss of refrigerant due to a leak......

yep, that was it! I can't tell it there are any hairline cracks. Is there a way to test it aside from plugging holes and filling it with air? I suppose its possible the bolt was loose and caused a leak? Can you recommend a parts vendor to pick this up from?
Thanks again.
Uhm- I mentioned Napa, or maybe even RockAuto
