Due to health problems, which I won't get into, I haven't been doing to much lately (I'm sure you've noticed..) But today I had to go to Pep Boys to pick up a R134a 30 pound suva when I saw this thing pictured below. I didn't get the best pic, but I could not believe it.. A "COMPUTERIZED" Diy'er kit, with a "CHIP" inside, so the advertisement says, I can see a LOT of work coming in this year..And I can see the explanations too..like, you're ripping me off, the computer in this tool told me it's just low, etc etc.. Boy, can't wait for this season... And it's only about $40.00.. I wonder if their sealers will screw it up..I need a nap now,....
Of course they had all the old standards there to, with a few new snake oil treatments...

Anything serious Chick? I went in over a week ago for botox injections for my hemi facial spasms as a result of modifying my dashboard with my head, doc accidentally missed my eyelid and hit my eyeball, that hurts like hell, but told it should go away in a week. Whoops! Turning out to be a long week.

No worries; just another "junk marketing to the naive masses" product from ID. A cheap transducer that lights up the red, yellow, green, or white LED's for those that have had issues with reading the color coded low pressure gauge that is commonly used in these "death kits". Why do professionals even bother to check high side pressures? Obviously it is not required..... (LMAO).

Haven't been doing much lately? Going to Pep Boys to pick up refrigerant is a good sign, hope you are feeling better.

In my 40 some odd experience with working with AC systems, that free-on stuff leaks out so you gotta put more in to get gooder cooling. That other stuff in there never goes bad and don't listen to dem crooks that try to sell you dat extra stuff. Also had a five inch hole in that whatchamacallit thingy that sits in front of the radiator, that sealer fixed that too.

I don't need one of those fancy light up things, everyone knows the more free-on you put in the gooder. Youse guys are just trying to rip off us hard working men.

But d-structions say to feel the air and if its getting cooler, free-on goin in. When d-air is cool nuff, stop chargin; if you over charge, air will become warm again. So more free-on not gooderer cause it say if air get warm, seek professional assistance; and I no want to get ripped off, dats why I buy dis good stuff to do it mysef.

Duh, but sure a lot of hoses and other stuff and pretty confusing where to pour that free-on in. I found little door on the back of my car with a cap in there easy to screw out. I just open a can of free-on with the church key on my key chain, (guy never knows when he will find a can of beer), and pour it in dere, figure with all dem hoses, it will find it's own way.

Duuude. I switched to enviro friendly propain, and now I gots 40 gallons of free-on. Anytime it aint coolin, I just squirt a lil in dere. Colder now too, but it do make my belt squeek a bit when it is warm out.
