Also thinking maybe failing expansion valve?
Also read about a clogged screen somewhere in the system? But cannot find it on the internet again.

It has only been checked by gauges. How do the check refrigerant weight? Would they evacuate the system then put in specified weight?
I will research the the gap. I do not know anything about it.

Hello all,
I am working on a 96 Dodge Ram van 3500 with a 318. It sounds like the compressor is clicking on and off all the time.
I had the R134 checked twice and it is full and pressures are fine.
I replaced the high and low pressure switches in the lines.
It still is clicking. It blows nice cold ...
