Re: AC low pressure not pulling down.

a 30 minute vacuum does not do squat as far as a vacuum. If you do not have a micron gauge, leave the pump on it for a few hours. Your compressor is a scroll type and probably has a control valve in it. The compressor may be in a de=stroked position due to a stuck control valve.

Re: Land Rover Defender High side Too High

mist the condenser with a water hose. If high side drops rapidly, there may be an air flow across the condenser or the condenser is not doing its job problem.

Re: New Motorcraft compressor, clutch wouldn't turn by hand, squealed after installation

If the evaporator lines are not cold, you have a refrigeration issue. I have run across this once before on an add on system. The drier was installed in reverse. I am not saying this is your problem but it is something to keep in mind. Without pulling up your vehicle, you may have a defective TXV Ha...

I did not read all of your notes. Let's start over. Run vehicle at 1500 RPM, doors /windows open. Set system on max cool. After 15 minutes. is the input and output tubes of front evaporator cold and about the same temps? If so, the front cooling/refrigeration system is working. Start looking at air ...

Piercing valves leak. A crimped Tee in high side sounds much better.

Re: 96 caddy AC issue

Put a shower cap around the front of the compressor after verifying there I refrigerant in the system. Let it sit overnight and place a sniffer thru a small hole. se if the sniffer activates. If it doe, could be the shaft seal.

Could be blend door actuator, heater reheat problem, compressor control valve. Now that you have the correct refrigeration level, time to troubleshoot.

Re: Ford C350 Dual Air - trouble

24 on vacuum is not enough depending upon where you are located. what is your elevation? Better recheck your equipment.
