Also, the expansion valve is set for R12, not R134. While it will work, it's not going to be efficient.

I too have a 55 with factory air. I was told the system design was poor when assessed against today's standards. It was suggested to me to use R12 and not convert to R134. Using an aluminum PF condenser is a step in the right direction as the original serpentine one was steel.
