Flushing techniques

Hi I'm rebuilding the AC on a 69 Camaro. Compressor is being rebuilt and new hoses have been purchased along with a new drier. It barely worked before I pulled it apart and I believe it was converted to 134. I'm planning on flushing to remove the unknown oil in the system. Can I flush the evaporator...

I just finished testing 2 POA valves one that's NOS and another that's been used. When I tested the used one, I slowly cranked up the pressure on the inlet and when It swung past 30lbs to about 40 or so ( wasn't paying attention to the exact point) I heard a pop and a went back to 30 lbs and stayed ...

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing as I doubt the POA was calibrated. I've never flushed a system... How hard is that to do?

I have a 69 Camaro that I recently purchased. The POA valve had a r134 connector screwed into the old r12 low side port and the hose that should have had a high side port didn't.
