Re: Why hasn't R1234YF dropped in price much in the last few years?
Honeywell has a monopoly Automotive refrigerants that leak out of A/C systems contribute very little to the overall global warming problem, only about 0.14% according to scientific estimates. Even so, when you multiply the millions of vehicles that are AC-equipped times even a small amount of refrig...

Re: 2015 BMW X5 7SBU17C compressor clutch gap

Re: A/C controls
I would think that there are modern controls that could work. Some modern systems work by pressures, some might work using electronics. I believe most systems once "on" have the driver "add heat" to make the temperature comfortable. Systems like in my '88 Mazda truck and '98 and ...

Re: Pulley Replacement 2012 Ram 1500 - Can't find any reasonable $$ parts
I was able to pull off the AC clutch off my Sanden compressor (1988 Mazda truck) without disconnecting/removing the compressor itself. Even practicing on a used compressor and borrowing AC puller tools from Autozone, I had to "engineer" some of my own pullers. Apparently I cannot attach a ...
