I'm not the POA guy. I would think any sound of leaking air is just that. If air leaks, I would refrigerant would also.

Industry cross seems to be wrong on more than one site I just checked. From Motorcraft. YG346 is red.

Like I mentioned before, proper reclaim, vacuum, and recharge is the correct way to get back on track. In the past, I have read Autozone my rent the tools needed to do this.
