Re: Making new AC lines for my LS swapped 1991 Mustang
I just tried to open up the two pictures I have in the post above and they don't seem to work. Maybe someone can tell me what I need to do to upload a picture. Thanks!

Making new AC lines for my LS swapped 1991 Mustang
This car project is over four years old and I can see light at the end of the tunnel. It's time to custom make my AC lines! I've never done it but most of the work that I've done on this project car is stuff that I've never done before so I'm not scared. I'm going to have to make two custom lines. A...

Re: PAG oil in my R134a converted Mustang?
I've been thinking about the new, parallel flow condenser vs using my good, OEM quality R12 condenser. I like the idea of the parallel flow but chinese made stuff really doesn't give me confidence.
At the moment, I'm leaning toward just flushing my OEM condenser and using it.

Re: Parallel flow condenser for my 1991 Mustang?
Tim, I sent you a quote message via ackits.com.
I also need to look at buying some reduced barrier hose and the beadlock/springlock hose fittings for custom hoses. I see that you sell of all that as well. I'll make them myself.

Re: PAG oil in my R134a converted Mustang?
bohica, I know you responded to my question just over a year ago but I just saw your post. Hopefully I'm going to be doing the ac work on this car later in the spring after I get the car on the road. I will definitely flush the oil out of the compressor. Since I'm reusing the evaporator, I'll flush ...

Re: Parallel flow condenser for my 1991 Mustang?
Tim, thank you for responding. The G3554 is the condenser that I saw on your website but there is very little in the way of a description. It doesn't say whether or not it is a parallel flow condenser. If not, then I'll may just reuse my perfectly good OEM Ford condenser. It worked very well before....

Re: Parallel flow condenser for my 1991 Mustang?
John, that was my thoughts as well. The OEM, R12 condenser did cool to 40F vent temperature in Florida using R134a. My OEM condenser is in excellent shape and I have no doubt that it is still solid and leak free. I have about a 1/2 gallon of ac flush solvent left over from when I had to redo my 2002...

Re: Parallel flow condenser for my 1991 Mustang?
tbird, I'll definitely call if I decide to buy a new parallel flow condenser. I went to the ackits.com website and entered my car's information and there wasn't a parallel flow condenser option. Pretty much everything that I've purchased for this car's ac recently has been china made. Most of what I...

Parallel flow condenser for my 1991 Mustang?
Back in 2008 I converted my '91 Mustang GT's ac from R12 to R134a. I retained the OEM condenser but with the help of a Lincoln MKVIII electric radiator fan, I was able to enjoy 40F vent temperatures. Worked flawlessly for the next 8 yrs. Fast forward to today. That GT sustained salt water air rust d...
