Be careful that you are not running low on oil. If there is a slow leak, usually you are losing small amounts of oil as well. Look for “wet” areas at fittings, joints, etc

Pipe in and pipe out of evap s/b about the same, look for issue with expansion device

Avoid a POA eliminator. You can get the valve recalibrated by any number of places on-line

The system is probably low on refrigerant due to seasonal losses, mostly from the comp shaft.
Having said that, that is a lot of miles for a comp.
