Have you tried to warm the outer fitting with a propane torch? And then maybe try to turn the flexible line's fitting?

Sounds like a leak. But first make sure that the leak is NOT in your gauge set/fittings.

It would be easier and less expensive to have a "real AC" shop find the source of the leak(s). Better than throwing parts at it.
