They cannot be flush with the average equipment seen on the market. A closed-loop flushing machine can flush PF condensers.

If you're going to use R12. When the sight glass clears.
If you have a PF condenser? I would go with R134a. Works great when pressure correct!

Re: Filling R134a from high side in liquid state with engine *OFF*
Simple answer. If you hook up the gauge set and try to charge on the high side while the vehicle is running. You will blow your fingers off as you will be adding pressure into the can. So if you want to get in the debate on charging. People go to extremes. You can charge by a liquid on the low side....

Re: 95 Tahoe AC Overcharge?
It was claimed the parts are from Autozone. Doing a quick vehicle look-up, the show the Condenser mounted black/white. What they got I would not know. Best to ask the Autozone guy or match it up on the web.
Also, not trying to be vague on a number. OT's are for the most part sized by color.

Re: 95 Tahoe AC Overcharge?
Start with the OE Spec on refrigerant, 36 ounces. Even being off a little can create odd issues.

Re: Compressor mounting on it's side
Fittings pointing on the side should not be an issue. Just do not point downward.
