Get a real gauge kit so you can really check both low and high sides.

I hope - for your sake - that your "kit" didn't have any SEALER in it !

Condenser doesn't look so clean to me either. Also make sure the fan clutch is good.

At 80 degrees outside my pressures were 29 and 160 respectively @ 1500RPM with a fan in front of the condenser. Temp at my vents is about 49 at best. That's running down the road. Is the air temperature out of the vents in the 30s? Or am I reading wrong? If so, I wouldn't do anything right now.

If the system is currently working, I'd leave it be, and file information away for possible future use.

And remember that the valve cap is an important and necessary part of refrigerant leak protection.
