Have you measured the clutch gap and/or tried nudging the front of the clutch with a suitable wood tool, like a section of 2x2, to see whether it engages? The problem was because the system was low in pressure. And therefore low on refrigerant, as we thought. I hope it lasts. Did the shop check the system for leaks, and did they find any? I think what you're referring to is recovery instead of evacuation . In theory, you could recover the refrigerant by using a vacuum pump and storage tank. But remember that a modern RRR machine also recycles the refrigerant by identifying, filtering, and removing moisture from the recovered refriger...
