Barrier Hose Size Question

Post by crustysarge »

I am in Italy where nothing is ever easy...I have some Four Seasons beadlock fittings on hand and bought J2064 Type A R134a hose from a local vendor. They use the same standard (6, 8, 10, etc.). The OD on the #10 hose is not 1" but more like 15/16". ID is good and fits tight. You can see the small difference in the attached pic. Am I having an "analysis paralysis" moment here? My gut tells me to just crimp and move on. Yes/No?

It is not RB harrier hose. They sell that as well. RB 10 is just a bit more than 3/4" OD so it is not that. Guess I'll just crimp and see.
