Just thought of another idea..to blow AC lines out using brake cleaner as a solvent, if you haven't got access to dried air from a shop compressor how about using one of the canned air duster products to blast the brake cleaner out. Probably not work on an evap but may work on small lines and it cant leave moisture behind 'cos its anHFC ..any ideas or go buy a air compressor drier $$££

"Canned Air" is R152 anyway. Great stuff for that. Wrap the parts up, because they will be so dry they will corrode instantly if there is any moisture...

Perhaps just clean them right before install? I know you are itching to "do something" but some work-aheads just make more trouble than they are worth.

Yes, when I go to London I have a tube card in my pocket before I board the plane. Saves a lot of hassle, Tap in/Tap out. Except when TFL decides to strike 6 hours early. I did question if the union slags parents had ever formally met...

Well, the union slags at TFL had announced a strike at Midnight. So as we were having dinner across London from our flat, they decided to walk out at 6pm instead.

When we were put off the bus we were riding on, I did have to ask the union loser if his mother ever formally met his father, or perhaps she only knew him as a john. My wife said I had other colorful things to say to the strikes as well, I just can't seem to recall. Finding a cab when that went down was a challenge.

My boss as you call him can play as much golf as he likes - as long as he takes time out to pimp slap Merkel once in a while.

I gettcha. :D .this is more interesting than AC !
Yes TFL are twats..the bozzoo that runs them is even worse..Foreigner! Doesn't care about transport...just his salary and bonus. We have a fantastic rail network for getting around little old London and its all about profit and union strikes !
I'm right behind you with Donald..we need him here to sort out the middle of the road Liberal "do good tossers" and get us back on the map! ( despite the soccer)!
I should have jumped ship when I had the chance..! I don't take a lot of notice of the German republic..they are spent and also full of immigrants..
Rant over.....

My wife informs me that I called the TFL goons "A festering sore on the ass of humanity" loud enough to be heard across the street. Apparently some of the locals agreed with my assessment.

You still have that paki mayor too?

We refer to that saying as "boil on the ass of humanity" and that does apply to the afore mentioned mayor.
I thought you guys called them sand ni**ers ?
He is corrupt like the rest of them. Just leaching his wages whilst the capital haemorgies tax payer money that he spends on moronic ideas like his predecessor BoJo Johnson. Mr trump says he is crap at his job. That's probably why he is not going to London town. Accept my apologies for the blimp they put up floating over the Houses of Parliament.

Got some Nylog through the post..any good? (cant get that over here so ebayed it from your side of the pond) Or shall I wipe all the joints and o rings with sand paper..lol

Nylog is good stuff. A little is all you need, a little extra is not harmful if it is exposed inside the system. Feel free to open the bottle ahead of time, and figure out how to work with it... It is synthetic, I promise it was not harvested from the nasal cavity of a large farm animal, nor made in china.

We have to be oh so careful with that particular word on this side of the pond anymore. Even though it does apply as a descriptive noun for a behavior rather than a physical appearance, hence the term "sand" in your statement.

As for your mayor, I think the term "A complete and total waste of human skin" applies.

The blimp is no big deal. The socialists here have done much worse. Hopefully they never get the anarchy they think they want.

I am not racist, I just hate everyone ..apart from you :D
Waste if skin ..I like that. How about oxygen thief, wog, sandal slapper or just plain w*anker!

We like Donald round these parts of London..we are more right wing moderate than leftie. He has got a lot of good ideas and wants to get Americans back to work... not like our trash that want to give it all away to foreigners who will work for nothing and fill their coffers with profit! I know wha'ts going on but there are so many English pasifistic morons that keep rolling over and wait for another day..... And Donald wants to build a wall to keep the druggies out..I need one here! Rant number 2 over Ahmen !

Back to AC.. I want to get a handle on the Nylog as never used it but heard it was good.. which means I want to start putting it all back together. Due to time constraints and the fact that the condenser wont be here till Monday could I start say Sunday and seal the system somehow overnight and button on the condenser on Monday or will I contaminate everything and hydrospoperise the oil?

Also my new lot of poxy PAG oil has just turned up and the "use by date" is just 6months away..thats old stock! Has it got a shelf life?? The stuff I flushed with was newer ..lol

If you need to leave a line open, just pull a plastic bag over the end of it & tape it tight to the hose with some vinyl electrical tape. That should be good enough for a few days.
It takes time for PAG to find moisture in the air. Oil packed in poly bottles is good for a long time.

I have friends with various levels of pigment. It's all good. My Sikh buddy laughs at my rants, suggests far worse insults for those he despises. He gave me hell for going to Brick lane in London for dinner.
