My cars ac runs decent on 92.5 degree weather it hits at 50degrees on the highway at the vent but when i pull into the drive through and the cooling fan kicks on to cool the condenser it will drop down to 45degrees in the vent right on the edge of the green in the vent gauge

so its not a bad charge
I changed the dryer pulled a vac for about 20 min and charged the best i could with 2 12oz cans of 134a
i didnt purge the freon into the low side when i was done so i know its a little short considering it calls for 27oz of 134a and i only had 24oz minus the freon left in the charging hoses.

I have a new dryer, gauges, 134a freon tank scale ball valve for my chargeing hose
i figure i can do it over with the correct amount of 134a

how much colder can it get? does anyone actually get there vent temps in the green area or below it

one thing i noticed is in the morning it i put the ac on and the fan speed on low the compressor will cycle i guess so it dont freeze the evaporator

is this what happens if your low a few oz of freon
what yall think i should do keep it or do it over

Can you wire the cooling fan so it always runs on high when the AC is turned on? Are all the fan shroud parts installed?

What kind of car? I know it has a 6 CD changer, and some faux wood trim, BMW? year? model?

No need to do it over, you already know you are 3oz short, add 3oz

No different than what you already charged...except you will need a scale

its a 2008 mercury grand marquis ls
do i pull a vacuum on the gagues and lines before letting the freon through?
the reason i wanted to start over is i might have let a little air in the system switching the 12 oz can and i didnt bleed the freon in the line into the system so i might be a little more short than 3 oz

You answered your own question, "I might have let air in", time to re-do

If you ever wanted to add a few oz to a system where technique was perfect, you would merely bleed 134 thru your charging hoses, no need to vacuum.....

You worked on this MGM last summer also, what happened to that
