Hi I'm new is there any way to fix this, and would like to know if it's possible to weld this air conditioning pipe or rejoin as I've been quoted £800 replace the whole lot.
Thank you

Yes, £800 (approximately $1,000 USD) is expensive. But your pictured lines with the chewed-up Springlock connection have twists and turns, and an apparent crimp besides, making a fix unlikely. You'll be better off having the shop handle it from start to finish. They will install new lines and whatever else is needed.

But if you're able to do some of the work yourself, you could purchase and install the new lines and then have the shop evacuate and recharge the system, saving you some money.

Lastly, since the system has been open to the atmosphere for an unspecified length of time, definitely replace the receiver/dryer.

Yes, line will have to be removed from vehicle, cut below the bend and solder a 90 degree spring lock fitting onto line, another way would be to cut just below bend and solder ( aluminum rod) a new 90 with spring lock fitting, depends on length of male SL from bend.
