I'm trying to get a friend's A/C back up and running and their vehicle is missing the charging label under the hood. It is a 2016 Impala. Would anyone be able to tell me what the refrigerant mass for this vehicle is? I haven't looked at it in person yet, so I'm not sure if it is R-134a or R-1234yf so if you have access to both specs, both would be appreciated so I'm prepared for either.

The specs that I have are as follows: 24 ounces net weight of R-134a, and 5.0 fluid ounces of PAG-46, for both the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines.

I appreciate you looking that up! Did you happen to see a spec for the R-1234yf version as well?

The only specification that I have for the 2016 Chevy Impala is R-134a. I'm sure that Chevrolet switched over to using R-1234yf exclusively several years ago. The Impala switched to R-1234yf during the 2018 model year for the V6 engine.
