If that sanden is under powered for this system, would it be OK for a single system? I've got a 2000 crew cab that will need a compressor as well, and I could go back to the OEM Harrison for the Yukon.
It would probably work fine in the smaller cab of a crew cab truck. It is only 155cc displacement and its far reduced BTU capacity compared to a factory GM HD6 or R4 made made it a very poor match for my dash air only G20 van though. I ended up replacing it with a 200cc 10-cylinder Denso 10S20F for a 2003-07ish 4.3L Van or Duramax ambulence package truck that both came with rear ac. The van has a 350 Vortec swapped into it from a 2005 Silverado 3500 cab and chassis truck so either the GMT400 Sanden 4261 or the GMT800/2003+ Express van 4.3L/Duramax style Denso 10S20F was a direct bolt-on to the factory AC bracket. Even with only a front dash unit the system for the larger compressor to operate the system performs far better. In ~105F the ac will hold 38-42F at the center vent at idle now vs creeping up to ~50-55F with the Sanden. The only change to that system was swapping the Sanden 4261 SD7H15 out for the Denso 10S20F.
